NOTICE: McCormick's Creek State Park was severely damaged by a tornado on Friday, March 31st. The park is now open for limited use: the Nature Center, Saddle Barn, Canyon Inn, cabins, most shelters, and some trails are open and operating. Public programming has resumed. Several park trails remain closed, and the campground is closed indefinitely.

WINTER CAMPING: When temperatures fall in November, the campgrounds begin operating with winter services and rates. Modern comfort station (restrooms/showers) is open only through Thanksgiving Weekend and is unheated. Water is available all winter long at the frost-free hydrants. Dump stations are closed. Regular services and rates begin again in late March. Full services are available May through October.
