Redbud Shelter House (reservable)Available by reservation only, Redbud Recreation Building is an enclosed shelter in a more wooded and private setting. The shelter seats 100 people with 8 picnic tables outside and 20 tables inside, plus 100 chairs.

Redbud Recreation Building also offers 50 amp electrical service with 4 outlets, drinking water, and 1 group grill, and 2 large stone patios. There is a fireplace inside the building, though you must bring your own wood. Redbud Shelter HouseVault toilets are located just outside the shelter, and modern restrooms are just across the road at the Nature Center and Swimming Pool. There you'll also find a Concession Stand.

There is parking space for 50 vehicles, though the spaces aren't guaranteed for the shelter. The parking area across the road is also used for the Nature Center, Swimming Pool and bath house, and playground.
